Our Suppliers

We love our home in the Forest of Dean and are lucky to be surrounded by some amazing producers with an inspirational approach to their products. We want to bring their delicious food and drink to people’s attention and onto their plates.

Having worked alongside Peter and the team for years we know that their approach to coffee cannot be topped and we are simply trying to continue it, they buy the best lots of coffee that is available depending on season - not cost - when its at its freshest, roasting it freshly and differing the roast level dependent on what the individual coffee tastes like to begin with. 

Cowshill Farm Cowshill Farm, Hewelsfield, GL15 6UP

Beef and pork from free roaming herds of old Gloucester cattle and Berkshire & Mangalitsa pigs. Their concept of farming is based on the understanding that animals should be reared with kindness and respect, and the end products reflects their care and treatment. The farm is a genuinely happy one and its a pleasure to go and watch their animals.

We fell in love with Pat and his cider before we started the cafe, his cider is delicious and incredibly easy to get carried away drinking! Amazing traditional 100% juice cider, no nasty additives or flavourings, which he bottle's in small batches in the Forest of Dean, simple and straight forward-no messing.

East Bristol Bakery 112 St. Marks Rd, Bristol BS5 6JD

 

Making bread is an art and these guys absolutely nail it - they are a traditional bakery in the sense that the believe fully in the Real Bread Campaign ethos of using no unnecessary ingredients just, salt, water and yeast. We love using their delicious ciabatta for our giant lunchtime sandwiches and amazing sourdough for lots of other dishes including being a staple on our Saturday brunch menu.


 

Hugo’s - Grocery 73 North St, Bristol BS3 1ES

Hugo is a perfect fit with us and our cafe, we couldn’t recommend him more highly to other businesses or for your weekly home veg-box.

It took us a while to find someone with the same stance on sourcing vegetables and fruit as us, he sources from around Bristol within a 15 mile radius and is passionate about great quality seasonal produce. He give us weekly updates from the farms to let us know what is coming up soon and at its best that week.

We are Millie - a cake baker and Nathan - a coffee roaster. We spend every spare moment planning our next meal - foraging, sourcing, cooking and eating.

West Street Kitchen is born out of our desire to share the food we love with other people. 

We make as much of our menu as we can from scratch, ourselves and take pride in knowing the origin of our ingredients.

We want our food to make people feel good not just through the way it tastes but also from the produce being sourced as locally as we can, when it’s in season and at its best.
